Education:
- Intermediate: Minimum 55% marks, Age limit: 17-22 years
- Graduates (2 years) and serving Pak Navy/ PAF: Minimum 60% marks, Age limit: 17-23 years
- Graduates with 4 years (BS/ BBA (Hons.)/ BBA/BPA): Minimum 60% marks, Age limit: 17-24 years
- Serving Army Soldiers: Minimum 60% in FA/ FSC, Age limit: 17-25 years

Selection Procedure:
Written/Intelligence Tests: Candidates undertake a written examination comprising multiple-choice questions covering subjects such as English, Mathematics, Pakistan Studies, Islamiat, and General Knowledge.
Physical/Medical Tests and Interviews: Those who successfully clear the written/intelligence tests proceed to undergo physical and medical assessments, along with interviews conducted at AS&RCs (Army Selection and Recruitment Centers).
Physical Test: Candidates are required to accomplish the following tasks:
- Run a distance of 1.6 kilometers within 8 minutes.
- Perform 15 push-ups in 2 minutes.
- Execute 20 sit-ups in 2 minutes.
- Complete 3 chin-ups in 2 minutes.
- Cross a ditch measuring 7 feet 4 inches by 7 feet 4 inches with a depth of 4 feet.
Psychological Assessment: Candidates who pass the physical test undergo a psychological assessment.
Final Interview: Successful candidates from the previous stages proceed to a final interview conducted in front of the selection board at AS&RC.
